Mighty Bikes has been a really special project for me. I originally started as a coach, to help out with little kids learning while I was getting comfortable with basic skills myself. Over time, Mighty Bikes became a client, and I designed their logo and jersey, which helped direct my interest in design toward niching down to outdoor accessibility.
I designed the Mighty Bikes logo in several formats to create a versatile piece of branding that can be used with many applications, including print, digital and differnt kinds of swag.
Later, I joined the board, and designed the layout the 'Coach Field Guide' as my board contribution, with the intent of helping newer coaches get familiar with key skills and trails. The guide is optimized for mobile use, so it can always be in a coaches' pocket.
Mighty Bikes kids are just the best. I love working with the younger kids, because I feel like I can help determine whether they feel 'meh' or 'HECK YEAH!' and develop a lifelong passion for riding.
